Office

Post by corpse »

Hi guys, I have office xp [2000] and I just did something really dumb.

I have an Excell sheet of names, address, and phone numbers. I decided that it would be a good idea to sort my names alphabetically. You know what's coming

I changed column A , but never gave a thought to columns B and C.

I clicked to save and now I cannot undo what I did.

My names, of course, do not match the addresses or phone numbers.

Is there a way to fix this? Can I go to the "sorting" options and reset them to default? Would this put it back the way it was??

I'm afraid you are fucked.

The one possibility is to look for the autosaved backup copy of the excel file, and open that... but it's likely that the autosaved version is also current.
