Mac Mini

Does anyone here own a Mac Mini or has had their greasy mitts on one?

I was wondering if one would be suitable as a bitch box... something to leave on overnight to download/upload, and something to host the occasional game server.

Are they quiet? I'm not familiar with macs but that's not a problem, if I'm only using it lightly I dont need to be too intimate with the interface.

Well, the form-factor is really small, it probably heats up lot's more than regular boxes do. I did hear that the first illiteration of the iMac G5's where super hot, there was a large chance of component failure for many users.
