Executive Software's Diskeeper ?? Comments
Anyone got some comments about Executive Software's Diskeeper I'm thinking of installing it on my Media Center PC, to keep my Recorded TV drive frag free. Just curious about anyones experiances with this proggie
Yep I run it. Works much better than the Windows defragger; and the smart-schedule thing is great to make it defrag at certain times; when the comp. is idle etc.
Plus the quick analyze drive thing is good; tells you what kind of state it's in without having to de-frag it all (i.e. healthy, warning or critical)

I've been hearing alot of good feedback on it.
I picked up the Professional edition I'm gonna give it a run and see how well it works.
Thanks guys
It would be much easier to schedule it to run rather than remote desktop home, then remote desktop to my Media Center and run defrag.

Yup I've always said the same thing, but the only time I am near this PC is when i am watching TV or recording TV and that drive is in heavy use, usually recording 1 or 2 shows while playing another, in one week the whole drive is one big blob of red fragmented files.K-mart Shopper wrote:I had it at one time.. didn't really do anything faster, or more efficiently. Disk Defragmenter does it's job well enough.
