Cool. Looks like it's a lot more intense than Doom3 itself.

When is this game due, or do we have to wait another 2 years?

Nope, looks like the old one.

Bet you cant pick up most of the stuff lying about with the gravity gun that you think youd be able to pick up.

One the one hand, the attention this grav gun is attracting is meaning the rest of the game doesn't get much coverage.

On the other hand, it's such a monumentally obvious, and indefensible rip-off, that it beggars belief .

In an interview, one of the id guys said the grav gun was practically implemented at the time they started development of Doom3. At that time it wasn't planned as a weapon so later on they decided to make a weapon out of it in the missionpack.

I'm not saying it's not a rather daft and volatile idea in light of the popularity of HL2's recent little gravity gimmick, but it's certainly not a "OMG their gravity gun rulezzz lets put it in our game!!" thing.

Ok, sorry if i piss on everybody's cornflakes, but *classic odium moment* time...

Name all the new things in Doom 3.

Now think of just ONE, only a single one, that hasn't been done before?

Grav Gun? Check
Shotty? Check
8 player MP? Check
CTF? Check
Demon powers? Check
Time slowing down (bullet time)? Check

And... Thats about it :paranoid:

But the game DOES look a lot better than Doom 3, even with the obvious rips. Its just a sad shame that coop was not the focus of this mission pack. A coop focussed game would of rocked :(

well if they would add some nice ingame music that got it more fast paced and heart pumping, the game would be quite nice

I *heard* that ingame music was in this one, but I'm not 100% sure it may of just been a rumour. It would rock though.

Apply a noise modifier to the imp model. Change its orange fireball to green. Remove the legs from the hellknight. Change its fireball from green to orange. Add horns to the flying heads. Charge $50.

What is the problem with .mov files? I've never had an issue with them or QT.
