I get this all the time in the console. Its doesnt seem to affect my game all that much....but I would like to fix it if I can

Nothing to be worried about, happens all the time in Quake4 =)

yeah it doesnt seem to affect the game, I just wonder what it is and if it can be fixed by something on my end

I got the same errors but related to screenshots in my screenshots folder

I have no idea why Q4 would be loading screenshots I took earlier.
