Exiting demos

You can't? The console takes up the whole page and pressing to close it doesnt work. I have to alt + enter and click the X to close the window. Yes?

you can open the console? Try typing disconnect

The other thing is, playnettimedemo doesn't have any sound now but it did the first few times I did it. I tried it with 2 different demos now, but no sound. I guess no sound might give a higher score which doesn't indicate the true fps? I get sound when playing demos as just playnetdemo though.

Maybe it's made to purely test graphics performance (sound excluded).

That didn't seem to work, but typing disconnect is fine. Another thing. Has anyone noticed that their player name changes after watching a demo? Last night, I watched a TDM demo following a player called 'luckuser' from clan team9 ( it was fox). When I then connected to a server, my name had changed to luckuser, clan team9. Someone at esreality noticed this was happening too, and he said it was even changing whole configs.

crtl-alt-shift-tilde makes a minimized console for me.
i dont have allowconsole in my cfg btw
