I don't understand why it's doing this but sometimes I click to join a server or I ctrl + v an ip in the console and it'll go straight to the awaiting connection box and then I'm in. But other times it goes through a whole process of going to the awaiting connection screen, then the screen goes momentarily black, then a Q3 type script box, (the one in my screenshot) pops up, then it goes back into the green loading game/initialising menu screen and then finally it goes back into the awaiting connection box and connects me.
I just loaded the game and every server I tried went straight to awaiting connection screen and then connected me. Then I quit the game and reloaded it and every server I tried did this other thing. I've even reinstalled the game, having saved all my relevant configs and files, and it did this even before transferring my configs over. Before reinstalling, it was sometimes worse. It would do: awaiting connection, script box, loading screen, script box, loading screen, awaiting connection, finally, I'm in! Wtf?
