Antivirus

Post by corpse »

I know you cant believe all you read. I was looking at a site that claims Kaspersky to be one of the top antivirus programs.

Would like your input if you have any experience with it.

Thanks

It's good,
But still i rather go for Avast. It's a hardly known AV compagnie, but if they sometimes update their Deff's at local time 3:00 am (same time zone as me) they get my approval. :icon26:

It's realy weird with them, at the oddest hrs you get updates. It seems to me that they're a bunch of plain fanatics.

ohh and did i mention that the personal edition is for free?

I know some non-computer literate folks who were going to dish out some cash for a new version of Norton AV at their local store. Wondering what free AV programs I could put on their computer?

It sounds like Kaspersky and Avast both offer good free version software, which is better?

I used AVG for a while and it did me good. I've recently been trying ClamWin and it seems to do quite well also. Thought I'd throw another good free one in the pot.

Bad, but the worst software name is still Win CE.

Lol, yeah I guess the name leaves a bit to be desired. It seems to work pretty well though.
