Awsome sequel.
Another kewl twist... just love it, not better than the first one, but a worthy sequel without a doubt.

Saw and Saw 2 is right up there with Se7en. :icon31:

I'm figuring it will be just as bad, if not worse, than the first one, which in itself was a waste of $9...

Went to see it last night, and I’ll say one thing – I doubt anybody would have expected the ending. The film is full of subtle hints that guide you in a certain direction but it only falls into place in the final minutes.

For the first time in a while, there is a sequel worth seeing at the cinema.

Were you in the 6:30 showing?

We probably walked past each other in the cinema :/

The twist in Saw II was even more foolishly predictable than the first one. Having said that, it is a good movie. Superior to the first one.

Wow, check out the big brain on Jackal. :icon28:
And i bet that you were one of those that claims that (after the ending) you knew who the jigsaw guy was allllll along in the first saw... right?

I mean..it was sooo obvious both in saw and saw 2.. right? i mean...come on.. a 5 year old child could have thought that out...riiiiiight?

Actually yes I did call who jigsaw was in the original and yes I did realize he was the guy on the floor. I had read a story years ago where a very similar thing happened.
And the end of the sequel was very predictable, my girlfriend even knew what was going on. Don't get upset if you didn't get it, I'm sure you enjoyed the movie even more so because it was surprising.
So I called the ending to both, big deal. Stop crying about it pansy.

and I didn't claim after the ending at all. I said to my gf during the movie to watch the guy on the floor, and I was right. There was no shell casing from the bullet he supposedly killed himself with.
And Im sorry but the end of the second movie was VERY obvious. She was the link between films and logic dictates that that is going to make her a major player. Not to mention her knowing where the tape recorder was right off the bat and her affinity for Jigsaw after her ordeal in the first movie.

btw, spoiler.

Yea it was a good flick, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I don't think I would say it's better than the first one, but definitely a good, worthy sequel.

I found the acting in the first one to be terribly clunky. The part where Cary Elwes figures out who's holding htme captive is horrible.

Both movies were very good horror flicks. Although, the first one did have some shitty acting on Cary Elwes part.
