* Secretary Rumsfeld and other high-ranking military officials failed to stop the torture and degrading treatment of detainees in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantánamo even after credible reports of abuses began to emerge in the media and in military documents.
* Although Secretary Rumsfeld knew of wrongdoing, and even ordered investigations into the torture of prisoners, he knowingly limited those investigations in a way that blocked high-ranking civilian or military officials, including himself, from being held accountable.

You missed FOX News O'Reilly Factor on this last night.
He blatently called the ACLU an enemy of america and that it hates freedom, and at the end of talking to a representitve from ACLU and a pro-republican guest he went ' Its not a great pleaseure having you on' to the ACLU guy, and a 'but its an enormous pleasure to having you on' to the republican.
The US is a joke to the world now.

Example, their daily stocks and shares show. Every day theres 4-5 so called experts on it who suggest shares that WILL go up based on whatever news story of the day they decide to use. Bush in Russia, we'll tell you which stocks will rise because of this! Syria is our new enemy, we'll tell you which stocks will rise because of this!
The things to notice is that its ALWAYS a great time to buy shares no matter what and how fucked up the current slump is. One guy touts the same companies, Johnston & Johnston is one of them, every two weeks or so. And how they hate having it pointed out that they have bought themselves that stock theyve just touted.
But the main laugh is that every couple of months they have a look back show and show how stocks theyve touted have done. They had one last week. And from 2005 backwards, with the show on two or three times a week at least, with at least 5/6 stocks touted per show, all they had to report was 3 stocks from June 2004.
Some fucking experts.
That opinion seems to be a gaining popularity. I also post at Club3G (eclipse forum) and when I posted an ACLU link about the religious discrimination about 5 of them instantly replied with "The ACLU sucks" and one of them even told me not to link to the ACLU because they spin their information! Not a single person in that forum seems to understand freedom, democracy, and equality. Shit, all the military dudes on there have been brainwashed to think Iraq is already a success story.
