how do you think i made breakfast,ToxicBug wrote:Throw a frying pan and some eggs on it.
threw the pan on, tossed two eggs, played the Japan lightwaight cup and Breaky was ready.
as with all PS2's the main problem is the laser, And the Slim gets it the worst.. That is why i allways recommend not getting the slim one if you are going to mod it.
i cooked up a silution for the mo, it took a 486DX2 HSF, Nic, Electrical tape, Paper.

thats cause the 'blue' games are cdroms instead of dvds, so it usese a different lensdzjepp wrote:I only noticed when playing Maximo (which is an old game, and it has blue dye, which incidentally makes the drive work 'harder' for some reason - might be however because the disk has some good scratches).
For other games it gets somewhat warm but I'd not worry about it.
the first batch of PS2s also stopped playing these discs after a while due to DRE's. all current ps2s dont have this problem anymore though so dont worry

Oh my God, you're totally right, what on earth was I thinking?ToxicBug wrote: A fridge is made for keeping things cool, not cooling them down.
Come to think of it a PS2 (even a slim one) probably wouldn't even fit inside a mini frifge, and even if it did, you have to leave the door open a jar for access to the leads, thus rendering the entire operation a waste of time.
Thanks for pointing out the short comings of my ex-brilliant plan and saving potentially millions of people money on mini fridges.
