Anyone up for a quick demo game?
I've lost all hope in new games, as everything new is garbage. My killer system gets killed by this pile of trash game… It's only saving grace are the multiple new ways to trick jump.
The netcode is surprisingly efficient. Even at my lowest ping times, which generally are in the 150 range, it feels more like 40ms.
I have yet to lose.
Somebody needs to beat me so I can uninstall it. I mean, "Player___" is really challenging, believe me.
It's too bad this game is a colossal joke, otherwise I'd buy it. Let me hip you to some wisdom, kids… I've realized that arena-based FPS games are like pasta sauce. Cooking them down reveals the most concentrated and flavorful part.
Quake 2 was The Edge - Played in many modifications.
Quake 3 was The Longest Yard - Played in many modifications.
Quake 4… The demo map is good enough for me.
I don't need to buy a $60 DVD just so I can install it, and delete 90% of the contents in the pk4 archives.
So, back to the original question. Who wants smasht?
Be careful if you take the challenge. I only get 12 frames per second because I don't give a crap about games anymore, and I haven't upgraded my videocard in years. If I beat you, you might as well take your own life. If you beat me, you'll know that the contest was skewed in your favor all along.
