Is it his fault there are dropped sounds all the time? :dork:

Highlight of the interview from the guy asking the questions. "The OpenAL audio implementation in QUAKE 4 is really great..."

If thats a great implementation, please any and all game developers in the world avoid this shit like the plague... :icon26:

It is great, aside from the fps drop even on the new X-Fi cards. Still I use it cause there is just no going back to the stock sound after using it.

In a 1v1 I will use it, but anything else no way.

Is this 'Miles Sound System' that is shown in the credits when you've finished the SP the OpenAL bit?
