Just guessing but I bet...

1. Mac doesnt sponsor like Intel/nVidia
2. A Mac that can play to the same quality as a WinTel box will cost twice as much.
3. 99.8 percent of gamers are not on Macs.

Shocking...

OS X = BSD based
Windows = 2k based

OS X, BSD, and Linux are superior in every respect to Windows. Even most Windows techs will admit that. Most people use Windows due to the platform having more games and the cost is cheaper for clones. The only OS that's better than OS X (especially for servers) is Linux and BSD (without a GUI).

Windows logs you in as root, has tons of viruses, spyware, insecurities, the hard drive requires defragging constantly, the registry is a growing snowball of garbage, and the OS is not pre-emptive. OS X, BSD, and Linux have none of those issues.

I'm not particularly bashing Windows, I'm merely defending the often misunderstood alternatives: OS X, BSD, and Linux.

Have a nice day. :icon25:

Totally true. That's why vista is totally exactly like OSX

Nope, OS X will still have underlying BSD base while Vista will have a command.com hidden somewhere...

Ladies, why are we talking about the underlying OS? I do not understand.

If X/BSD/*nix are so much better, well then why do they not run the world like MS does? For the record I do not think the world of windows, tbh I dont fucking care either way as long as I get good fps and can play its irrelevent either way.

Iluvmymac, you WERE bashing windows, a post where you mention nothing positive whatsoever about the alternatives and focus entirely on the opposing solution is not defending, its bashing. Hmm where have I seen that style lately... :icon26:
