web2zone and Net Heads are set to host QUAKE 4 tournaments in New York City and Indianapolis on February 11th, 2006. Participants have the opportunity to win cash and product prizes at their local competitions with an additional cash purse in the center-to-center finals. Carlos "x6-dj" Cid won the first web2zone tournament(Fatal1ty Shootout) while Sabian "b|d-Clamp-ok" Hayblum won the second. This will mark the first time where two centers will run simultaneous Quake 4 events. The following prizes are PER CENTER:
1st Place: $100 Cash + Steel Sound 5H
2nd Place: $75 Cash + SteelPad 5L
3rd Place: $50 Cash + Sponsored Prizes (TBA)
4th Place: SteelPad S&S
5th Place: SteelPad QcK+
6th Place: SteelPad QcK+
7th Place: SteelPad Qck
8th Place: SteelPad Qck
The 1st place finalists of their respective centers will then compete head to head in a controlled online match for additional $50 CASH.
