New Server Coming

I'm getting a different server, The server company that I had before dropped me for some reason. They told me that they didn't receive my payment so they shut down the server, I told them that in fact that I did pay it and I showed them the reciept, they refunded the money and gave me no reason why. So in the future don't use PFM Servers from PFM Productions, they're obviously not a very good company to get a Game Server threw.

It don't matter Chicago and Tampa bay are the only options I have right now. So Chicago will have to be the choice. I could look into to other companies to see if they have better locations for everyone. Please let me know as soon as possible so I get the best server for everyone.

Or I can just get the Chicago Server right now.

The Clanservers.com does look like a damn good deal to be honest.

For a 16 player server it's $31.95 a month. With some rather nice
features offered.

Mind you I have no experience in this situation as far as what is a good price for servers.

But I do think what clanservers.com is offering looks pretty good.

Shame that net gamer doesn't have Quake4 server rental though.

Having to renta rig is almost 3 times as much as the clanservers.

*sigh* I'm sounding like I'm doing a commercial for clanservers or something. But after looking for a bit online for other gameserver providers. There's not that many that offer at that low a price for what they are giving you.

My 2¢'s.

I hope someone else has had better luck in finding other gameserver providers. To give a good comparison.

Clan Servers did look good to me too. Someone had a problem with Clan Servers and I want to find out what this problem was before making any decisions.

If i'm not mistaken, my friend and I had a server through them. If it's the same company, we weren't happy with them at all. Let me try and do some quick checking and see if it was them for sure.

Ok I purchased a nice server 16 player, public. Will be up in awhile, more details later. As soon as they contact me with the IP I will post it here and in the Quake 4 server Thread.

check out http://gamecloud.com, greatest provider on the planet with no bs.

All the tournies used them in q3 for the past year and a half till q4's release. GGL had 5 or 6 servers from them. and gamecloud.com put up about 11 servers (speakeasy). WDC was the most popular with 5 servers in that location and were always busy. and if you know ppl, when czm,cl0ck,fox, or soc were playing...it was on these servers.

10 players on now. I know none of them! Locals in that area must of just found the server. Hehehe.
