This is a pretty cool start--I like the overall feel of the layout, and I like the open feeling of much of the map. I also love the speed you can get (esp. off the jumppads and heading toward YA).
Biggest gripe--too dark. When I took a quick peek at the map file, it seemed like most (?) of your lights didn't have an assigned shader, and were simply blank and using the default. This is contributing heavily to the darkness of the map, and you would be much better off by picking a brighter default shader (e.g. rav_squarebevel and rav_squarebevel_02 are good choices).
You also have a lot of work to do on texturing--many edges needing trims, and many textures not fitting the face they're on.
Re: item placement, I think that the RA is too difficult to reach (I assume you can get to it via a strafe jump and I just suck?), and that the RG and DMG are too easy. How about switching DMG and RA, and maybe putting RG in a more out-of-the-way and/or dangerous spot? RG is going to be brutal in this map, with long lines of sight and the openness...
The RA is intended to be a plasma climb or rocketjump from the RL. Yup maybe swap those two items would be good. Also the nailgun and hyperblaster mebbe should swap.
I had the RG back where the Quad was, but swapped them right before sending it out. Might just put them back. Ooo then quad on that bottom floor and remove the TP there...
