Not sure what to do...

Every server I have tried to join lately has done this. I will find a server I want on Echelon, click on it and it will start loading normal. Then after about 20-30 seconds of a normal "Connecting to [insert ip here]" screen the game will close out and there will be 3 greyed out Quake 4 windows stacked on top of each other, and then they will disappear and nothing happens. Really weird ass problem and I really have no idea what to do. Ive been trying to check all updates mods and maps to see if I'm missing something but can't find anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

Note: This started happening ever since I tried downloading Q4World Mod if that has anything to do with it.

Can you connect to a server if you copy the ip, load up q4, and type /connect ipaddress ?

Try uninstalling the Q4W mod and see if you get the same results.

Ive done that 4 times now. When I uninstall the mod then every server I go to tells me I'm missing files required to play.
