I like it. It isn't as deep as Rogue Spear but I think it is a fun game. I have been playing co-op with a friend and we are enjoying it. I think it is as 'tactical' as the people who play it.
So far though, there seem to be more people who don't like it than people who seem to like it. I don't know if it would be worth $50 to you. But it is still a pretty fun game. I guess it just depends on your taste. I just wouldn't expect some realistic tactical simulator.
On a side note... the way Reef likes The Regiment has me wanting to grab that also. Might see if I can get a hold of it tonight.
