Nice. The beta patch is pretty hefty and full of fixes and additions.

I wish they would add water, lava, swimming animations, and female models. That would really make the game feel complete -- much more like Quake 3. I wonder who works on the official maps?

TBH female models should be up the community. If they dont want to add them, they shouldn't. It would take a lot of effort.

But at least add swimable areas in code, even if its just the jump animation ala Quake 2... Its not that hard to do, mods have done it

I'd like to thank Raven for the new sky box as well, it really is nice. Thanks guys.

FYI: Its a new dark black space style sky box, but with more detail than just stars.

Yes, I saw a Brak model for Quake 4. And female models = nude skins.
