system monitoring

can anyone recommend me some software that i can use to monitor stuff on my computer. i mostly care about websites, but i don't know anything about this type of software, so any help is appreciated. i know there are some IT people on this forum, so i figured you probably would have used something like this at some point.

Does monitoring of upload/download etc, IIRC there's an option for monitoring websites, or a plugin.

I still use Nortons and have done for years.

"System Doctor" is always on' on my PC and I find it does the monitoring side of things very well.
