I've been having problems with my computer as of late, so I took the whole thing apart and put it together again, and now it won't boot.
As far as I can tell, everything is plugged in correctly. When I turn on the PSU, the mobo led light turns on, but when I press the power switch, nothing happens. No boot, no post, fans don't even spin, no indication that it's even plugged in at all except for the mobo light.
Any ideas of what might be the issue?

Double checked my case power connectors. Plugged in correctly.
A bit of background...
I recently RMA'ed my mobo because of a bad onboard SATA controller. Details here:

Sent it in, waited a few weeks, got a replacement today. Plugged everything in and then I get the problem as described above. Furthermore, I just discovered that 2 of the capacitors on the mobo are heating up unusually, just from being plugged in. So now it sounds like my mobo is the issue again.
Asus is starting to piss me off. My brother's in the process of RMA'ing his Asus board too (different model) because of random reboots and inability to boot up half the time.
Edit: Checking CPU now...

Just unplugged and popped HSF off and reinstalled. That didn't help, unfortunately.axbaby wrote:check your cpu fan and cpu installation.
