New Zelda Trailer looks very cool

Post by Chupacabra »

http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/action ... 20155.html - Gamespot - not so great quality quality

http://media.cube.ign.com/media/572/572738/vids_1.html - IGN - Better quality if youre an insider which I am not.

http://www.nintendo.com/gameminiav?game ... 72874aee2e& - Nintendo. Supposedly has slower servers. Best quality I think?

Looks very nice. Almost makes me want a Gamecube.

I got around 100kb/s from the nintendo site, so that was pretty fast.

Gamecube sucks, its an immature console for the mentally ill. Get a real console like the ps2 or the xbox.

That looks good, maybe I should get rid of my Xbox and get this. :) It's like under 100 clams now right not bad... I'm really itching on playing Resident Evil 4 and Paper Mario 1/2

That looks like it's going to be the best game ever made.

wind waker was another boring as hell adventure game except it was worse because it was set in a cartoon setting. Id rather watch the smurfs than play it. And for the guy who bought the console for paper mario is a retard, paper mario games are teh suck and the only good mario rpg was the original amde by squaresoft the kings.

Wind Waker was fun. But it did get tedious sailing back and forth all the time.

looks brilliant, and RE4 is a game that eveyone should play.

Paper Mario 2 is a great RPG aswell, honestly i think it has the best Dialogue of any current gen game.

im currently playing Metroid Prime 2, and just loving it.

The only thing bad about that trailer was that I orgasmed all over the computer without warning...wtf :icon33:

Wind waker was awesome. Not as good as OoT, but still one of the best games out this generation of consoles. The graphics were awe inspiring.

Aye, it looks amazing.

Anybody else have this feeling its a remake of OOT? I mean, look at it, its all the same stuff from OOT, even that spider boss was in OOT...

Anybody with a cube, you NEED a wavebird. Trust me they are so worth it.

Isn't a wavebird just a wireless pad?
Sorry, but I don't feel like splashing out on batteries for a controller...

yes and thats what kind of bothers me.

a few things look too similar imo: the spider boss, the fire dungeon (though I might be wrong here) and hyrule field. one of the reasons why i enjoyed Zelda: A Link to the Past more than OOT is because there was no simple empty field or anything. The whole area was complex and you felt submerged in Hyrule. Hyrule field wasnt simply a hub to get to other places or anything.

What, the unbearably boring one with hideously low-res pre-rendered graphics?

Yea this looks pretty good. Zelda is one of the few franchises that has held all its appeal through sequel after sequel. I think Metroid is another one, but that's just my opinion.

I did like Link to the Past better than OoT or WW, but I thoroughly enjoyed both of those too. The sailing around the world repeatedly got stale after a little bit, but once you got the warps it wasn't so bad.

If I have all my game saves on a regular memory card right now, can I still transfer them to that new stick through the Cube? Or would I have to start fresh on the new card?

Yup, you can transfer them to the new card, then, even better, transfer them for storage to yer PC.

Bah, Super Mario RPG owned back in the day. There wasn't much anything fancier so I thought it looked good. ;)
