Quake 4 Server Usage

I just checked the server this morning and it was down and no one said anything.

Is anyone using this server?

Before I do anything with the server I'm checking with Doomer (that's a given). There have been 86 hits to this thread, I'm sure if anyone cared they would speak up.

I personally think Quake 4 is dead. But I could be wrong.

There was a server hosted by Fjoggs' brother but as soon as I went away noone used it.

I think you might be best holding onto your cash for a while sir, ET:QW is right around the corner and no matter whether it's awesome or a complete letdown, there will be an initial rush of playing it here.

How about a TA server with fenders server-side mod? Mebbe just for a little while.

I can make a thread every weekend about TA games, I'm sure a few from here would show up for some weekend games.

I would be happy to sponsor a few servers here, if someone would like to run them. I don't have time to admin any.

All machines are Internap, Dual Opteron, RAID 5, 4 gigs ram. Locations available are Dallas, San Francisco, and New York.

You could have 1 in each location.

For Q3? You'd prolly get very little action on a Q4 server, as we just witnessed.

3 servers, you can run whatever games that are supported on the front page:

The control panel allows you to install any game we support and you can run them as you please.
