Mappers sought for game project

Post by phil »

Hey,

Basically, the aim of our project is to resurrect the legendary speed-running tournaments (like the cult Quake done Quick movie) using modern graphics technology and somewhat improved gameplay specifically designed for the needs of speed-running.

This project is not meant to be distributed commercially, the reasons being the tight timeframe, the intended public, as well as the possibility of being a portfolio of the participants.

Since we're only 3 people working on the project now, we'd need some additional help in order to make this game greater and a worthy replacement for all the speed runners out there.

@Silicone_Milk: Yeah, I posted this in several forums, I know it's not good habit but I wanted to reach as many people as possible.

Look at the QdQ site for example, or the whole defrag stuff, there always are some tournaments going on.

@req: Thanks dude, that's really cool :) You have some awesome maps on your site, hope someones gonna be interested...l
