X-Men 3 - scene after the credits
X-Men 3 - scene after the credits
Just curious, did anybody who's seen this film stay until after the credits? This morning's review in the Globe & Mail tipped me off that there was an extra scene added afterward, and indeed there was.
However, all I saw was that [person in bed] said "Hello Moira" to the nurse, and then she turned toward the voice, and then the projector was turned off and the screen just cut right to black (not like a film strip running out, but like the plug being pulled on the projector). It even cut off in the middle of a musical note in the score. I am convinced that they turned the projector off too early (even if only by 10 or 20 seconds) because scenes don't end that abruptly unless this was some weird avant-garde artsy thing -- which would kinda go against the grain of the rest of the film, which was pretty conventional.
But when I mentioned this to the ticket people outside, they assured me that the manager had told them it was meant to be that way. I didn't really believe that, but whaddaya gonna do.
So did anybody else see this scene? Did I miss anything?

sliver, we all watched it too and it was a brief scene.
I was talking to a friend about it and he said that previously in the film, the professor was lecturing some students about the morality of placing somebody's mind in another body.......perhaps this was a hint
the other scene with Magneto was quite a nice one too.

It was added in response to the popular cartoon dub/parody which is on the internet. Type it into google if you haven't seen it - very funny.feedback wrote:What's with the "I'm the juggernaut, bitch" line?

Yep, thats exactly what it was.DiscoDave wrote:I was talking to a friend about it and he said that previously in the film, the professor was lecturing some students about the morality of placing somebody's mind in another body.......perhaps this was a hint

i thought the second was pretty weak. this one kinda blew. no real plot, no real conflict, colossus looked wank (as did iceman eventually), and the final battle was retarded (magneto could've killed them all with shrapnel from the bridge in seconds). my first thought when the credits came up was "that's it?"

You missed about 3 seconds. After he says her name, she looks at him in surprise and says "Charles?" Then cut to black.sliver wrote:Just curious, did anybody who's seen this film stay until after the credits?
