quake 3 matching service

Does anyone know of a free q3a matching service (i.e. with a lobby and what not)? I guess what I'm looking for is a dedicated q3 server but without game files. If such a thing exists, could someone please post info in this thread? Thanks.

Eh... I suppose you could use gamespy acrade or zone.com, but for q3, hardly anyone uses those lobbies these days. You would be better off using all-seeing eye and finding servers that way.

thanks for the help.. those lobbies seem to be all right, but i was looking for something a bit more simplistic. (not that i'm daunted or stupid or anything.)

Well like I mentioned, those are pretty much the only match-making services that offer support for q3, and people don't really use them for q3.

Everyone usually uses all=seeing eye to find servers to play on.
