Widescreen LCD

Looking for a 19 or so.. I think thats the one im picking up. and ive read "great" things about it. Beyond 1 review every review has been "Cheap, Quality, No Ghosting, Bright ass color" so quality isnt my worry.

My worry, is im comming from a 19" CRT. Im losing 2 inches to gain 1. Think ill notice tons?

Been trying to find a refurb 20.1 but been unlucky, and 350+ isnt really in the budget atm.
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

I have a 17 inch Sony LCD, before I had a 19 inch CRT - I notice no difference really...and I love the Sony Xbrite screen (some people hate that 'glossy' look, but I love it.)

I think you'll really like the Viewsonic.

I doubt it will feel smaller to look at because it's widescreen.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.

Very tall if you flip the screen around 90 degrees!

I stopped by the mac department at Micro Center a few weeks ago and didn't want to leave. 30" sounds small but for a computer monitor, that thing is fucking gigantic. Sadly, it costs about as much as a used car.

My monitor came, and it is quite beautiful.

Playing Q3 on an LCD is gonna take some getting used to though :(

Do those cameras actually pay for themselves in your case?

hey dumbass... a 19" LCD has more viewable area than your 19" CRT. Especially if its wide-screen.

Im using a Mirai 19" widescreen.. good 8ms response, good price.
Only downer is that you cant lower/heighten the screen, only flip it back and forth.

Hey dumbass, please go read up on 19" widescreens..

You lose 2 full inches from top to bottom, but gain 1 inch wide..

Seems you failed math..

that, and its a no-name piece of shit with a bunk warranty.
Yes, but sadly not everyone can fork out 400+ for a high end lcd.

Thankfully viewsonics really on the cheap with this one, and they happen to be REALLY good about warranty issues.

Mirai tho? Seriously wth?

I got my 19" 4ms/1400:1 LG for $288.00 at Best Buy. Granted, it's not wide screen. But it was cheap for a 4ms LCD. :icon26:

that's ok if it's all you afford. but what you don't have is a pair of 2" titanium alloy multifollicular orbiforms with the 10" docking pod allowing high bandwidth fluid transfer to a lubricated socket

granted, it's not wide screen, but you wouldn't understand anyway :smirk:
