I Need a Good Hair Clipper
I have a Border Collie that has some matted hair and is quite uncomfortable with her hair due to the heat of the summer. We had used an old hair clipper, but it died. I need something very heavy duty and durable. Anyone know of a good clipper?

Fine for sideburns... But would be burnt up before finishing your pooch.FragaGeddon wrote:Conair
Go to the local pet shop and look at their trimmers.
Ours is an Andis AGC or something. You could shave a horse with this thing without it bogging down.
We, usually trim our dog; a Border Collie/Australian Sheppard mix down to 1.5 or 2 inches every other year, so the hair is basically the length of a smooth collie's.
Funny thing is, she looks forward to it I think. When she sees the trimmer she seems to get a bit excited and starts following who ever has it around. heh- :icon26:
Once that's done, you can prevent matted hair by combing at least once every two weeks. Also make sure you trim any really long hair off of the paws, and from between the toes

anything would do just get some conair or wahl clippers at walmart that cost atleast $25
There was a time I would wear nothing less than $50 shirts and such and spend $15 3 times a month to maintain my fade but now I just cut my own hair for like 5 years and ive been through only 2 clippers, and the old pair only gave out after it took a hard fall to the ground
