i don't follow cycling too much. does he have a legitimate shot, or will he be overtaken in the final stages?
when someone sets it up... it must be knocked down.
but for real... how can anyone but their mother's be honestly interested in watching a bunch of guys ride bikes up a hill?
its almost as uninteresting as marathon running, and the only thing marathons have going is that someone's body might completely shut down.
personally i'd rather turn on the TV and watch the 24 hour wallpaper channel.

i'm not interested in spectating, i'm interested in who is going to win. hence my saying "i don't follow cycling too much."
ya, I find it boring to watch, and I can't figure out the spectators who camp out to see the riders fly by for 5 seconds. woo hoo...we've been here all fucking day and here they come and there they go and alright lets go home that was worth it.

if he crashes, the peloton is not allowed to attack (unwritten law). if he crashes and gets injured, then yes, technically he could lose. however, the last stage is more of a celebration for finishing the tour than anything else. the only race part of it comes in the last km when the sprinters go for the final stage win and the final sprint stage points (which determines the green jersey, to be won this year by Robbie McEwen).

i'd like to believe the excess testosterone was from his ride that day, not a booster. what good would testosterone do given the night before? furthermore, and i'd imagine someone else could talk about this better than I could, couldn't his insane ride have elevated his testosterone levels? he rode, alone, at breakneck speeds up 4 mountains, for 6 hours as hard as he could. I'd think that would elevate one's testosterone levels
tested positive for high levels of testosterone.l
I wonder how 'high' he was....would suck if he was still within the range of normal parameters.
I'm always skeptical of those tests, regardless regardless of who they test because I've seen medical lab tests vary pretty significantly from one test to another when both were done within 15 minutes of each other....
but if it turns out to be the result of drugs, then yea....
BAM!
no title!
