User Interface Error on startup

I just installed pointrelease 1.32 and I am now unable to open the game. It's telling me this "User Interface is version 4, expected version 3." Any ideas? Right now I'm gonna uninstall and start over and then go from there. Thanks.

try reintatalling it woilthout the point reease?

Thanks for the quick reply. I just reinstalled and it worked fine without the update. I reinstalled the update and it gave me the same problem. Should I uninstall everything and try downloading another copy of the update and try again?

Well, I downloaded a new copy of the 1.32 update and reinstalled Q3. Still getting the same message of "User Interface is Version 4, Expected 3."

Well first, make sure you are installing the patch in the same directory that you have the game installed in. Also make sure you are installing the full 1.32 patch, followed by 1.32c.

In short, you need to do the following:

* Install the latest patch, Point Release 1.32. (NOTE: Install 1.32 first, then apply 1.32c second)
* Update Punkbuster with PBSETUP.
* Use All-Seeing Eye to browse for servers to play on.

I downloaded the patch in my Quake III folder. I don't have the 1.32c patch installed. Do you think that would solve it? Where do I find PBSETUP? I told it to install punkbuster. Somethings not happy here.
