Threewave has worked on most of the best-selling franchises and brands in the FPS genre including Id’s Quake, Epic’s Unreal and Activision’s Castle Wolfenstein, to name a few. From their site it looks like they're looking to hire basically every possible position.

They've just licenced Source from Valve so hmm... along side their recent comments on advertising it looks like they're going episodic with adverts in game (a recent interview said they were thinking of producing content "tailored" to advertisers - I got the impression that meant 'mini games', for want of a better term).

Well regardless of what they make I'm sure it'll be top notch. One thing I've always loved about Threewave stuff is it always looks very polished and professional, moreso than the original game that the mod runs in. Especially the maps, I always get a hardon just running through them and taking a look at all the cool shit goin' on.

I am a bit disappointed by Threewave because they totally abandoned modding for Doom3 /Quake4. It was a great time with Threewave CTF for Q3.

Yeah yeah I know they made some CTF maps for the Resurrection of Evil addon... that´s not what I was talking about. It´s a standard, dumbed down CTF mode in a commercial addon and not comparable to Q3 Threewave. :icon32:
