i know when i went to 1.1 u had to uninstall older or u had 2 firefoxs listed in add/remove...is this the case?

then u have to uninstall...unless ur a freak or something who like 2 ff's in add/remove...sry that bothers me...

You can remove entries by opening regedit then:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

And just deleting the folder you don't want anymore.

But that still downloads the exe and runs a normal install... which puts another icon in the uninstall screen.
