These are the effects of the "zero tolerance" policies. I'm not saying the kid shouldn't be talked to, explained that doing that isn't exactly appropriate, but suspension? I mean isn't the point of pre-K to teach social interaction, so instead of dealing with it they just issued a suspension.

The same zero-tolerance bullshit is in effect here in the Peel District as well. Glad I don't have to deal with it anymore, but even correcting a stuck-up, self-proclaimed genius teacher can earn you up to a week of suspension.
