Good software that'll eliminate malware

Post by I cant spell u »

My friend is a dolt, and got malware on his computer, could someone assist him in removing it by providing a wonderful link to a program that'll fix this?

Thank you comrades.

Pends what it is. Antivirus - AVG or Panda ActiveScan.

Spywares - Windows Defender or HijackThis.

Then if you can get away with it put him on a limited user account.

Windows Live Onecare for antivirus and Windows Defender for antispyware IMO. You'll be asked partway through the Onecare install process if you'd like to install Defender as well after which both are managed via the same console.

how do you place someone on a limited account? Id like a limited profile for my kids to use that gives them access to some games but not control panels.
