obstacle course from hell

Been watching the reruns of Gladiators on BRavo tv (probably only brits that will know of that tv show), and then I stumble across this! I want a shot so badly.. :p

Except he doesn't look all that persian so it'd be the Prince of Asia I guess, but that's just a minor detail :shrug:

I remember gladiators. And im not a brit :(

That obstacle course is from a show that runs under the name "Ninja Warrior" here in the US. Those courses are fucking nuts.

you mean the first course? i've seen that one in the states too, but not that second one - i think it's entirely diff show?

Yep, I saw it the other night. On Spike TV maybe?

It's like MXC (Takeshi's Castle, in Japan) -- a Japanese show that's dubbed and run over here.

They even have the two olympic twins competing in it - one was a gold medalist in gymnastics I believe, and he didn't make it through the first level of the course.

Thanks for the link though - I've only seen the first stage of the course. :icon14:

Aha, I had no idea that the Gladiators show was international (and indeed that it began in America). I guess I was misled a bit by some of the shows that were on with international competitors (including some from the USA) which led me to believe that it wasn't a show aired in the USA.
Sorry about that :p 5 minutes with google set me straight.

Yeah, those are all from the same show. They run a shitload of people through the first course, so they end up finishing the show at night.
