I may bump the RAM down to 512, do you think it would make much of a performance hit?

That's beyond Thirsk isnt it? I thought you were working in Harrogate? I'll be travelling near thirsk (A19) on friday night, we (or at least i) could have a half in thirsk or abouts?

I ran XP and did PS work on a similar system with no problems on 512.

Well I like speed :clownboat:

But yeah surfing and general PS use is fast and easy with 512. Once you get into the heavier rendering work, more power is needed :ninja:

Oh and how much of a price drop is it from 1024 to 512? Just wondering if the unit price of 512 is less than or equal to half the price of the 1024.
