I ran XP and did PS work on a similar system with no problems on 512.

Well I like speed

But yeah surfing and general PS use is fast and easy with 512. Once you get into the heavier rendering work, more power is needed

Oh and how much of a price drop is it from 1024 to 512? Just wondering if the unit price of 512 is less than or equal to half the price of the 1024.
