Forza 2 demo tonight

I hear the Forza 2 Demo might be released tonight, can't wait to try this game, bought the wheel especialy to play this game. Anyone else getting it?

I really want to. I'm torn between this and Test Drive Unlimited but at this rate I'll have TDU complete before I return it.

I really liked Test Drive Unlimited too actualy, I thought it was a great little game. I rented it too though, I want to go buy it I just never get around to it. Plus I'm so busy with burnout revenge and now Forza 2 I can't see myself bothering with it as it'll just be a title I won't play.

As far as free roaming city racing games go, I'll wait till Burnout Paradise comes out, that'll be a blast.

Been waitin for some good demos to come out... they release game after game but hardly ever a demo anymore... Nice to try before you buy and renting doesn't quite count.

Sweet my 360 is off but its still downloading the demo using as little power as possible and will turn itself fully off once done. Nice.

Wow... What have they done to Forza... That demo was the biggest pile of shite I've ever played... Forgetting the fact it looks like an xbox 1 game, the actual game itself is pretty damn weak, and the UI is awful...

I dunno..

I liked it.. Was forza like. But it felt, a bit, undergraphiced? I guess thats the only way i can think to say it.

Lighting was good, Shiney was good, Smashing was good. Roads were good. but it didnt feel like. forza 2. More like forza 1.5 beta 1.

Game played ok i supposed. Eh, itll be great. Ill buy it. Im a sucker for forza

Just played it for a while. I like it. Im not real used to more technical driving sims, i like to get sloppy with my driving. But i thought this was just the right balance of being technical but not so much that it takes forever to get good at and just isnt forgiving. So far need for speed retail and burnout 3 demo was more fun. im a NFS hoe though.

But i liked it. Its not high on the long list of games i am gonna get, cause its a large ass list, but i might one day.

ewww I loved NFS series but the last one, Carbon sucked ass, with the wheel it's impossible to drive in a straight line.

Burnout Revenge is wicked btw, but be ready for massive frustration, that game is bad for that.

As for Forza 2 I really really liked it. I thought the feedback on the wheel was done amazingly well, I really can't beleive how bad the other games are with the wheel, I thought PGR3 was good but man it sucks.

I agree though that the graphics aren't as nice as they should be, I was expecting gears of war esque graphics but instead we seem to have gotten a slightly better looking Forza 1.

It's a demo of course and there's a lot missing like damage (it's only cosmetic) and other features but I really love the time penalty feature they put in the game. Finaly a game that penalizes drivers for drving like morons.

All in all I really liked it, I thought the sim side is amazing and much better than PGR3.

Trust o'dium to review a demo on the graphics alone....

To those saying it looks like Forza HD: well, yes, but the framerate is twice that in Forza. The AI is a shitload better too, did a great job of blocking the line without being on rails. I could like it a lot.

I played it a bit with the RX-8, looked pretty, felt more than a bit disconnected. It's ok so far, I plan on giving it another try.

Yeah I found the AI in the game to be extremely cool to race against. The cars don't seem to ram you because you're in their line anymore, they seem to try and avoid you rather than ram into you which is very cool for a change.

Dunno. Ive had quite a few of them try to sideswipe me when i passed

Still. When retail hits itll be better.
