So I've always wondered how they were going to make money. I guess this the first mainstream step, besides selling their search engine. It looks like they are going to use it as a cross site shopping cart and order history. I got $10 off my buy.com order for using it. $70 for a wireless 360 controller and 13 (12+1) month Live subscription. :icon14:

Has anyone else used this? I don't know if I would have bothered, except for the $10 off.

I've purchased things with it at a couple sites. Good alternative to paypal.

I dunno. Google has made me nervous recently. I'm not sure I'd want to use them for credit card transactions.

No doubt they save your purchase history indefinitely, just like their search requests.
So when they start doing their automated psychological profiling, they'll know everything about you.
