Trustworthy Servers?

Hello guys, I'm fairly new to the forums but I have been playing Q3 for YEARS. .

Anyways, It's been a good 3 year stretch since I've played, lol. . and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good server that does not use that annoying "excessive" mod.

Better yet, anyone know if there are any "Grapple" servers around still? I used to love those.

i know of a pretty good grapple server(freezedt)... 66.199.232.58 i believe it is.

use an external server browser like ASE or Qtracker so you can filter servers by 'mod' type.

but uh, do servers that have the grapple feature enabled count it as a mod? just wondering.

Oh, and I use Gamespy but it really sucks, lol. . I can't seem to find any good servers that have low ping. . none at all. Do people just not play in North America or what?
