All you have to do is click on "Install Demo" right? I clicked on it and nothing happened. I think my steam is borked.

thats why i usually go tot he "store" within steam.. and after that Click on View and Banwith monitor and you can see your downlaod.. and you should see the % in the games list.

Is there a way to see "what" is being downloaded? I do know of some server crap that's being downloaded.

What's so special about Bioshock. I saw the trailer and wasn't impressed by it at all.

Have it on preorder, it should arrive within 3 days, so I don't think I'll bother with the demo.

Woah, this game is freaky as hell..

the intro was well done, its clear where you need to go.. and the intro/reason for the game is presented in a Clear, But not out of context.. i like it thus far.. i need a little more seat time though :)

Started the demo, but in the menus I can't see the mouse pointer, and when I start the game there's lots of graphical errors and mostly just a black screen. I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, so I guess that's the problem.

I have a 9800 pro and just did some googling after getting exactly the same problem.

They're not SMI3.0 compatable or some shit and thus can't run it.

i picked the game up for the xbox this morning and got to play for a hour-ish. i can see how the game can come off as being rather linear, especially with the way you can set it up to give hints and have an arrow point you in the right direction. but if you ignore all that crap and/or turn it off then you can waste hours upon hours just looking around and exploring things. i actually like having the arrow on as i'll just walk in the oposite direction it tells you to go. it's kinda like a cheap way of discovering things :p

one last thing. i think the hacking is pure genious. i used to play pipe dream for hours when i was younger so it's a nice nostalgic boost for the game :D

Just beat the game 1000/1000 on 360.

I have to say, its one of the best games in the past 5 years. A lot better than I was expecting, and I was expecting it to be pure awesome.

The only thing that let me down was the ending, however I knew I was gonna get a weak one... Its always the way, you get an awesome game, then it gives you a thread bare ending.

Not sure if there are multiple ones or not. I could say which I got (I'm guessing it was the better one seeing as how much I did) but that would be spoiler-rif-ick.

What a weird game damn, intro was cool, but I have the impression they used allot of DX10 lightning and effects but the textures themself are not that good. Also I have constant sound stuttering on my system. I have the same thing on Lost Planet DX10 demo. Seams my Audigy2 ZS is already way outdated for DX10 :/

edit: only played it for 20 minutes orso, I have to fix that sound issue, cuz having stuttering all over is very annoying.
