I think people need to watch this in a broader perspective.

The fact that people are being shot at isn't funny. It's horrible. However, when you don't take these images literally then they can be viewed in a "this is the true face of America" way. What I mean by that is that on CNN we see tanks driving over rubble of Iraqi vehicles shot to pieces. Soldiers waving flags and boasting about their victories. We've seen pictures of POW's being molested and humiliated by american soldiers.

This video, however, shows that the US isn't that indestructable steel force that can "police" the world. I guess that is the reason why Turbine was amused by the video, especially because the US has been a bit arrogant about their business so far.
While what's actually happening there is horrible, it does give an honest view of things. And please do realise it's not just American soldiers creaming their pants when they're being shot at by artillery. I don't think Taliban fighters feel much different when they're being shot at by tanks and attack helicopters.
