well, the reason is obvious, oil and greed.

considering how much oil is in the middle east and considering how much we consume daily in our western nations, it doesn't take a fucking genius to realise that the people who own the land in the middle east should be the richest bastards in the world... so why do they walk around in rags wipping their camels with bits of cable they find lying around in the street. i'm sure they'd rather have a bentley over that camel any day... well, something tells me that these people didn't get the money they deserve, they got scammed, big time, and someone else, maybe sitting in a real nice office in the states with a bentley parked outside did make some money.
