RA3 Help

I just installed RA3 over a fresh QIII 1.32 install and when I try to create a server in RA3 it stays at "Awaiting Connection...0" for a second or two and then kicks me back to the main menu. The ingame server browser never returns any results either.

I checked console and the error it brought up was: "Error: Client/Server game mismatch: RA3175\"

I have version 1.76 installed.

Any help is appreciated. :]

I think ra3 has a separate download for the server files.

Give up on the ingame server browser.

I tried downloading the server files and putting them in my arena dir but I still get the same error. I'm just trying to host a temp server that me and a friend or two can play on.

fire up the server using the server files.

Then to connect to it do it from an external game browser like ASE or load up Q3 ...load up the mod and then connect to the server.

There is a bug in the RA3 code that stops you from connecting to the server direct from the game browser without loading the mod first.
