Adaware

Post by corpse »

With the free version of Adaware 2007 I find that after a scan if it finds any critical objects, it will not delete them. I have the list selected and click remove but nothing happens. Anyone else?

It removes the privacy objects fine.

How long has adaware been losing its popularity, and why? First time I've seen anyone somewhat disagree with it on this forum, and most of the peps I talk to still view it as a great resource.

edit: Have you tried running in safe mode to delete the entries. Could be one in there that is disabling you from getting rid of the rest.

if you have a legit version of windows, windows defender is all you need..

if illegal version of windows, adaware will never remove everything everytime and make your system clean.
