St. Anger
St. Anger
Just really listened to it for the first time. Horrible waste of recording studio time and anything else that might have been associated with it. What the fuck is that stupid fucking noise that Lars is producing with what used to be a drum set? I lost interest after And Justice for All, but this is an all new low. Well they had a couple of good years anyway.
Re: St. Anger
who is this st.anger you speak of?
i vaguely remember a group that used to be worth shit before they went to a therapist and recorded it all having something to do with it...but i could be wrong.

Re: St. Anger
Just the very low point in Metallica's sad excuse for a career in the 90's and beyond.
Re: St. Anger
Remember when they were pissed of at everyone downloading there songs for free?
Well, Lars came up with the idea of St Anger, his thinking was that after people wasted time and bandwidth downloading St Anger, they might think twice before they do it again.
It worked to a certain degree.

Yeah, I'll never buy another Metallica song again. That's for sure. Yeah, it worked really well.

shut up! early metallica is excellent thrash metal. they have some unreal stuff (namely from the infamous 4 album stretch from 1983's 'kill em all' to 1988's '...and justice for all'. but i agree, 'st. anger' is truly awful. but i still think its better than that 'load' and 're-load' crap they did. the only decent thing they released recently at all was 'garage inc' but obviously that was all covers but their version of 'am i evil?' is pretty amazing.
Re: St. Anger
Lol, I listened to them when they first appeared. Not so much since the late 80's. So stuff it Moses.seremtan wrote:lol, metallica

Shit, you had to bang 2 rocks together to make any music back when you were living in a cave with all the other neanderthals.
Re: St. Anger
