Rented this today. That guy shouldn't have gotten fired for giving this game a 6.5 or whatever on gamespy...he should have been praised by the company for going that high.
This game is a steaming pile of mediocrity. Graphics are awful (especially after you have played CoD4.) Controls aren't very good either. Gunfights sound really weak even on full dolby digital surround. Might be worth a weekend rental but nothing more.
Do not buy this game.
Anyone else tried it and see some redeeming qualities in it that I might be missing?

apparently he wasn't fired for the review of kane and lynch. it was apparently just bad timing. he was fired for other reasons that won't be disclosed.

I'm so sad that Kane and Lynch is apparently that bad, I was really hoping for that game to be great, because I really love that Michael Mann/Heat style they were going for and I thought the game looked great in trailers.. Meh..

I was looking forward to the Co-Op game play, but after the firing of the reviewer, I decided not to buy the game. Not even "buy" it. Not worth the bandwidth.

I'm forcing myself to play this game just to see if it gets better. It isn't. And the devs must have thought that if saying the word 'fuck' in a game will make it cool, forcing the word fuck into every piece of dialogue will make it stellar. And it has this nice realistic touch of letting enemies survive 10 or so rounds to the chest, neck, arm, etc...you can get them with headshots, but the controls and aim make combat not very fun. This game actually feels like a chore to play.
