Thoughts on replacement vid card (AGP)

Thinking about this card to replace my fubar 6800GT.

I'm thinking if you're still on an AGP board you'd be better getting anothre 6800 cheap and spending a bit to upgrade the rest of your ageing rig.

does it have to be nvidia? ati has the fastest agp flavours in 1950pro and 1950xt. i had a 1950pro before upgrading to this 8800gt and it worked great. likely as fast if not faster than your cpu can dish out.

yeah this could be a good excuse for him to upgrade to a pci-e system. sell of your old system for some change afterwards.

Nope, not going to upgrade yet. I wanted to get another 6800GT but then I figured I could at least make a marginal upgrade for only a few bones more.
I'll look for the ATI cards.
