Photoshop help
I am using Photoshop 7 and running XP Pro. I have an image that is in a circle shape, but the total image is rectangular. The circle shape image is within the total image.
I want to cut the circle image out so it is a standalone image.
I have tried the slice tool, the background eraser tool, the marquee tool, etc.
I haven't had any success. Could someone please explain to me how to do this in a very simple and easy manner.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help.
I've got another one if you can.
I have an image and a background that is all one color. I want just the image and I would like to make the background transparent.
Is there an easy way to do this??
I know about the background eraser and all but then I would have to draw around the image to get rid of the background. As the background is all one color, I think there should be an easy way to just click something and "poof" the background is transparent.

You can use the magic wand or select/color range to grab the backround if it doesn't have the same color in the image. Then invert selection/ copy/new image with background transparent then paste. There might be an easier way, but I don't know it.

It should already be the size of whatever you copied from the other image.corpse wrote:I got to the point of inverting the image, but cant seem to find how to make the background transparent.
This worked, thanks.
